THE NEW RISK ORDER: Geopolitical Forces Shaping Insurance in 2027
Monday, 28 September 2026 | 2:00 pm – 5:30 pm
The Old Library, Lloyd’s of London
The world’s risk landscape is changing at extraordinary speed.
Geopolitical conflict, disruption to strategic trade routes, terrorism, political violence, cyber warfare, artificial intelligence and emerging security threats are increasingly interconnected — creating new challenges for businesses, governments and the global insurance market.
The New Risk Order: Geopolitical Forces Shaping Insurance in 2027 will bring together senior leaders and experts from insurance, policing, security, international maritime affairs, geopolitical intelligence and global business for an exclusive afternoon of discussion at the historic Old Library at Lloyd’s of London. The Old Library is one of Lloyd’s principal event spaces and dates from its former Leadenhall Street home.
The conference will look beyond individual insurance classes to explore the bigger global forces changing the nature of risk — and what organisations should be preparing for as we move towards 2027.
