GLOBAL TRADE DELEGATION

The Business 20 (B20) is the official G20 dialogue forum with the global business community. Established in 2010, B20 is among the most prominent Engagement Groups in G20, with companies and business organizations as participants. The B20 leads the process of galvanizing global business leaders for their views on issues of global economic and trade governance and speaks in a single voice for the entire G20 business community.

Each year, the G20 Presidency appoints a B20 Chair (an eminent business leader from the G20 host country), who is supported by a B20 Sherpa and the B20 secretariat. The B20 aims to deliver concrete actionable policy recommendations on priorities by each rotating presidency to spur economic growth and development. The B20 bases
its work on Task Forces (TFs) and Action Councils (ACs) entrusted to develop consensus-based policy recommendations to the G20 and to international organizations and institutions.

 

Objective of the Trade Mission
The mission will provide the opportunity to explore new business opportunities, expand market presence, learn about new international regulations and policies. The mission will facilitate targeted networking with local and global businesses, including with government authorities, and will assist to build relationships with potential partners.
During the conference companies will also have access to valuable business development information and the necessary structures to enhance existing business models. The trade mission will be designed by industry experts with deep and proven experience in international business strategies.

B2B Meetings
Our expert teams will coordinate B2B meetings to take place during the conference, based on company market requirements. The meetings can be booked either directly through the conference app or we can provide a personal bespoke service to arrange meetings through our dedicated local team. There will also be ample networking
opportunities with industry professionals and B2B meetings arranged with targeted businesses.

Who Should Attend
The Business 20 (B20) is an event which is part of the G20 Summit. It is designed to bring together global business leaders and provide them with an opportunity to express the views of the international business community. Its main purpose is to develop recommendations and secure relevant commitments from the business leaders. The mission will also allow businesses to meet with global companies across critical sectors and explore business development opportunities. It will also provide an opportunity to find local partners and understand and develop opportunities in the Indian market.
